Three Days Grace - 2026 - 03

It was a Monday, of all days, and Three Days Grace tore it down at the Allstate Arena. It was honestly a great way to start the week, especially after a long day at work! Three Days Grace is currently on tour celebrating their latest album, Alienation, which is the first album they have released with both Matt Walst and Adam Gontier sharing vocal duties for the group! So of course, this tour is monumental if you ask me!

The set opened with a melody of some of their greatest hits playing over the P.A. system before the band came on the stage and got us rocking with "It's All Over". It was an incredible way to start the show! Matt and Adam were awesome at sharing the vocal responsibilities, either alternating songs, or in some cases even splitting the song between the tow of them. It was a great partnership between them which worked out really well.

Halfway through the set the band switched it up a little and decided to do some acoustic versions of a few of their songs, which I am a fan of, and seeing Matt sing "Porn Star Dancing" from his original band, My Darkest Days, had me in tears of joy because I never thought I would be able to witness a moment like that!

The set was 23 songs long, but broken up into 3 mini-sets. It was really just a fun night of Rock music! If you can, go see them on this tour!

I Prevail were the direct support for the night and it really felt like they were about to burned the house down with their incredible pyrotechnics! Being from Detroit, I love seeing these boys grow from playing the tiny venues I originally saw them at, to now playing sold out arenas! They deserve it so much and it just makes me happy! Even though they only gave us a shorter set of about 10 songs, they made the most of it and so many people were cheering them on! Overall, if you like rock or heavier music then you'll love I Prevail, so if you are going to see Three Days Grace, get there early to see these guys set it on fire!

The Funeral Portrait opened on this leg of the tour and I was so happy about that. They are a band I have been trying to catch because I always hear about what a great show they put on! Honestly, I was super impressed. These guys are very lively and their stage presence was amazing. They were even better live than I was lead to believe. Lee Jennings (vocals) truly knows how to captivate an audience. If you can, go see this band, especially if your a fan of emo music like I am!
